Fostering Sustainability Workshop
Thursday, Oct 17, 6:30-8:00 PM
At the Skagit Valley Food Coop
202 S. First St. Downtown Mt. Vernon
People are talking about cohousing. Why? Because it is an antidote to our culture’s loss of connection and community. In cohousing, community members intentionally create a neighborhood that focuses on living better together. By doing so, a cohousing community fosters sustainability and resiliency for individuals and for the wider community. In this workshop, Skagit Cohousing, a developing community here in Skagit County will share why cohousing is attracting so many people and give an update on their project.
