Our Development Consultant
Kathryn McCamant, President of CoHousing Solutions, studied cohousing in Denmark and co-wrote the seminal book Creating Cohousing: Building Sustainable Communities. She has over 30 years of experience in cohousing architecture, development and consulting. We've pioneered the development of cohousing in North America, and we have helped create dozens of successful, award-winning communities. Our newest venture involves training passionate cohousing entrepreneurs through the year-long 500 Communities Program.
Grace Kim and Michael Moriano of Schemata Workshop, partnering with Ross Chapin Architects have extensive experience designing cohousing neighborhoods. Grace has done additional study of common house design. They currently live in a cohousing community themselves and understand the importance of good design in fostering good relationships. They are committed to making well designed, energy efficient, and beautiful cohousing neighborhoods a reality in the Pacific Northwest.
Tad Fairbank of Fairbank Construction Company draws on expertise established over the course of four decades in construction and real estate development, standing proud to have earned the reputation of one of the Northwest’s finest builders. Enriching our relationship with Tad is his recent experience bringing a local cohousing project to completion: Quimper Village in Port Townsend, which is the newest community to be built in Washington.
